Albany, NY The New York Press Association (NYPA) Foundation announces the inauguration of a First Amendment essay contest for 11th and 12th grade high school students in New York State. 

Bill Meyer has been addressing the newspapers, delivering them to the post offices and servicing newsstands since the 1950s, along with his crew including John Simone. Your mail carrier brings the paper through all kinds of weather. 

The readers of our four sister newspapers are worth their weight in gold. They really are loyal, not only to their own community but to their neighboring communities as well. Last summer, we first started writing about Merokian Alice Dillon's search for a kidney donor.
